Open since 1951, Ford’s Kansas City Assembly Plant also produces the E-Transit and the Ford F-150 truck within its 4.7 million square foot facility. As of 2019, the Kansas City Assembly Plant was producing more vehicles per year than any other car manufacturing facility in the United States.
